First Impressions: Bokurano

Bokurano, a new mech anime from GONZO (Red Garden, Hellsing) seems to offer a rather unique premise. The show is about fifteen seventh graders who must take turns at controlling a giant mech to defend the Earth from invaders.

Now, while the plot sounds fairly clichéd for the most part, the show is a GONZO production, and well; it has fifteen protagonists. There's no telling how the story will play out or even how each character will get enough screen time to be treated to a decent amount of development.

However, the first episode is out and it gives you a small taste of things to come.
