Make way for Mass Effect console skinz!
Accessory company Mad Catz is all set to cash in on the (presumable) success of BioWare's upcoming Xbox 360 RPG, Mass Effect via a plethora of 360 accessories. Having done the same with Gears of War, Mad Catz CEO Darren Richardson states that the company is seeking to align itself "with important, mass-appeal brands and interactive entertainment software launches."
The accessory company will be producing Mass Effect-themed products including an Xbox 360 faceplate and “Console Skinz” combo pack for $29.99. The accessories will support the launch of Mass Effect later this year.

As great (or not) as skins look in PR shots I wonder why people would want the real, corner peeling, fluff attracting thing stuck on their machine.
/me saves cash to buy Red Wii. :)
