Stan "The Man" Lee lights up Paris

So, uh ... this is kind of an awkward news announcement to make and um ... well, I really do feel a bit embarrassed bringing it up. It doesn't involve me in any way, but being a huge fan of the subject involved, it's just one of those things you ever feel ashamed to admit ever happened.

Tell you what. Grab a chair, sit down. Take a sip of water. I'll try and make this quick and painless. Well, quick anyway.

Stan Lee is working on a Paris Hilton animated series for MTV.

No, your ears don't deceive you. I did, in fact, just use the terms "Paris Hilton", "Stan Lee" and "MTV" in the same sentence. This is the second time Stan is basing an animated series around a popular celebrity, the first being Stripperella. And no, I don't think this is part of his deal with Disney.

Only if she dies in every episode, ala' Kenny in South Park, will I even allow this to happen. If this takes any other course, I'll take up the sword for my comics-loving brothers and bear the burden of slaying the master myself.

It will be a sad day, but great men shouldn't be reduced to such shame.

A noble cause.

Well said. I shall join you in your quest to prevent the slow, painful corruption of the comic industry.

Indeed, our brethren may not understand - they might even curse us for an eternity, accusing us of treachery - but we must do the needful.
