Beneath the Surface

Microsoft's announcement of their new surface interface has impressed a large majority of the tech/gaming community. It goes without saying that the possibilities the interface presents us with are endless. Microsoft weren't kidding when they said it would change interactivity. The real question, though, is how long will it take for this change to come about?

While you ponder over that for a bit, I'd suggest checking out this feature at Ars Technica, where, after a discussion with Microsoft, the Ars staff has revealed (to an extent, of course) the inner workings of the Surface. Trust me, it isn't what you think it is. Extremely interesting post ... one that I would highly recommend if you were even mildly impressed by the device.
